Dr. Faith Nelson has worked for the past 25 years as a Health professional in a variety of settings, with emphasis in the Critical
Care and Integrative Medicine fields. Dr Nelson’s experience is varied, and she has been cross-trained in all disciplines and areas of expertise in varied Intensive Care settings, including Premie Nursery, Cardiac Care, Surgical Intensive, ER, Neuro Intensive, Burn Unit, and Psychiatric Intensive. During the 15 years in these specialty areas as a clinician and supervisor, she pursued her interests in the eclectic fields of Integrative Medicine. Her practice was blended with in-patient care settings until 1998, when she pursued development of the Outpatient Integrative Services along with the development of the Fibromyalgia Program at St. John's Regional Health Center. Faith completed her PhD at Greenwich University in Integrative Medicine and a ThD in Spiritual Healing/Energy Medicine through HOLOS University, with Dr. Norman Shealy as her mentor. Her special interests are in the field of biotherapeutics, electromedicine, and electro-acupuncture, with an eclectic background having a wide rangeof skills, trainings, and certifications in the fields of Biofeedback, Auriculotherapy, Massage Therapy, Clinical Essential Oils, Reflexology/Acupressure, Touch for Health Level 4, PKP level 3, Reiki Master, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and other Energy Medicine work.
Dr. Nelson is currently practicing as a Nurse Specialist and Coordinator of Complementary Health in Corporate Health and Wellness at St. John's Regional Health Center. The emphasis of these programs is: Headaches, Stress/Pain Management, Smoking Cessation.
With the development of a multidisciplinary approach utilizing varied approaches of Integrative Medicine, Biofeedback, Electromedicine, Massage/Essential Oils, and Pain management strategies, she is currently designing Certification programs and standards for licensed health care professionals in the use of Integrative approaches in a clinical and hospital setting. She is also available to community groups for multiple lectures in the area of Integrative Medicine and as a private consultant. Since 1987, Faith has practiced privately in the field of Integrative Medicine, co-founding the Wellness Concepts Integrative Clinic with Jill Reavis L.AC. in Springfield, Missouri.

Patricia F. Nelson has a broad background in medical and wellness training, currently carrying training Certifications in over twelve healing modalities, as well as being an RN, Electromedicine Nurse Specialist, and Ph.D. in the field of Integrative Medicine. She contributed input in the development of the Integrative Support Services at St. John's Hospital with the Fibromylagia, Headache, Chronic Pain, and Smoking Cessation Programs, and is now Clinical Coordinator for Complementary Health Services at St Johns Regional Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. She has varied clinical experience in all areas of health care, with emphasis in Intensive Care Therapy, Supervisory/Management positions, and Industrial Health and RTW Consulting. Current pursuits include development, research, and advanced education/certification in the fields of Integrative Healthcare and Energy Medicine. My Professional Goals It is my pervading interest to continue to research and apply all effective strategies and technologies for the successful management of pain and stress. I am very much committed to integrating alternative approaches as a part of mainstream medicine. Continuing to be educated and consulting in this rapidly evolving arm of medical science is paramount. Currently, I am pursuing development of certification courses in Integrative Medicine that will most effectively support clinical application of these methods, which have been proven to be cost effective with significant outcomes in pain and stress management. My professional interests in this field will continue to evolve as technology advances.
